A common scenario is that a customer places multiple orders back to back and you would like to combine them so they can ship together and reduce shipping costs.

This is supported by ShippingEasy, ShipStation and many other order managers.

The preferred workflow is to review orders in your order manager and perform the combine or merge operation before importing them into GroovePacker. This keeps things simple as there is no chance for confusion.

If the orders get imported into GroovePacker before they are combined, we need to consider how GroovePacker will handle updating the orders.

Because it is a little different for ShippingEasy and ShipStation we'll look at them independently.

ShipStation: Running another import after the combination has occurred will update the "surviving" order. This will be the order that will be cued and it should contain all of the items from the other orders that were merged into it. If the other orders were imported prior to the combination they will remain in GroovePacker. These can be selected in GroovePacker and their status can be set to Canceled using the status drop-down in the orders section.

Shippo: As of this writing Shippo does not support combining multiple orders
