New products will be created in GroovePacker automatically only during the order import. Products can be imported at any time using a CSV or the product import option available on some sources, like Shopify.
Depending on the order import source the Name, SKU, and image are often available. The barcode may also be available and will be imported if it is. If not it can later be added directly in GroovePacker (either before scanning or at the time of scanning). If there are many new items that need to be created at once, all of their data can be imported with a CSV import. A CSV import will allow settings and special packing data, like instructions that the packer should see when packing a specific item, to be saved during the import as well.
Also, if the SKU and Barcode are the same value for all of your items it is possible to have GroovePacker generate the barcode from the SKU during the import - in most cases.
