There are a few options that can be used to import orders from ShipStation to GroovePacker. All of these standard options utilize ShipStation's API.

You'll be able to grant access to allow GroovePacker to import orders from your ShipStation account by providing the API credentials. This article explains the steps: How to Connect GroovePacker to ShipStation

The two types of imports are Status based and Tag based.

- Status-based imports are ideal when all Shipping Labels are created either before or after the scanning verification process

- Tagged-based imports are recommended when you create labels for some orders prior to scanning and labels for other after scanning. Tags are also recommended when orders are routinely held prior to processing.

Status-Based Imports

When using status-based imports you will enable one of the Status switches found in the GroovePacker settings for your ShipStation store/source.

This will limit the orders that need to be considered for import to orders with the enabled status.  Since each order must be checked prior to import to ensure that it has not already been imported it saves time to limit the orders to a specific status.  If you know that you'll need to import from multiple statuses then a Tag-based import should be used.
